GILE 2026
At the 2026 Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition (GILE), EasyDetek presented its full portfolio of 5.8GHz, 24GHz, and 60GHz radar sensing products, together with scenario-based smart space solutions for intelligent lighting, smart hotels, elderly care, smart homes, offices, and commercial buildings.
Rather than displaying radar products as isolated components, EasyDetek built an experience-oriented booth to show how radar sensing can support real indoor applications: detecting movement and presence, enabling energy-saving lighting control, supporting hotel cardless power control, and providing privacy-conscious sensing inputs for health monitoring and smart care scenarios.
For industrial and commercial lighting applications, EasyDetek highlighted the EDC591, EDC593, EDC59I, and EDC59Z series. These products are designed for large-area lighting scenarios such as supermarkets, warehouses, logistics centers, industrial plants, parking facilities, and large public venues.
The series supports long-distance detection with mounting heights up to 15 meters, and can work with intelligent daylight control for more efficient lighting management. With waterproof design options and scenario-based installation guidance, the products help extend radar sensing from low- and mid-bay lighting to high-bay applications.
Application value: By combining radar sensing with lighting control, commercial and industrial projects can reduce unnecessary lighting time, lower manual maintenance pressure, and improve the reliability of smart lighting upgrades in complex indoor environments.
EasyDetek used scenario-based demonstration areas to help visitors understand how radar technology works in different living and working environments. The focus was not only on sensor parameters, but also on how the sensing result connects with lighting, air conditioning, room control, and smart devices.
For hotel guest rooms, EasyDetek demonstrated a cardless power control solution based on mmWave radar presence sensing. By identifying whether a guest is present in the room, the system can support intelligent linkage with lighting and air conditioning, helping improve comfort while reducing unnecessary energy consumption.
For offices, meeting rooms, and residential spaces, EasyDetek radar sensors can detect both human movement and static presence. This helps address common problems with traditional sensing devices, such as missed detection when a person remains still, frequent on/off switching, and unwanted shutoff during long sitting periods.
The booth also included a dedicated experience area for 60GHz advanced radar sensing. EasyDetek demonstrated functions such as respiration and heart-rate monitoring, sleep status analysis, fall detection, people counting, and trajectory tracking.
These functions provide additional non-camera sensing inputs for smart elderly care, home care, and healthcare-related smart space applications. In practical projects, the final solution should be selected and validated according to the specific installation environment and system requirements.
In addition to complete smart space solutions, EasyDetek presented multiple radar module series for smart home, office, and small-device applications. These modules can be embedded into products such as smart night lights, bathroom mirror cabinet lights, smart door locks, bathroom heaters, and smart toilets.
With compact radar sensing capability, EasyDetek helps product manufacturers upgrade single-category smart devices with more refined, contactless, and scenario-aware sensing functions.
For smart applications to be deployed successfully, ecosystem compatibility is essential. EasyDetek radar products support integration with major smart home ecosystems including Mijia, Tuya, and HarmonyOS, and also support common communication interfaces and protocols such as MQTT, KNX, RS485, and Bluetooth.
At the booth, EasyDetek also demonstrated Bluetooth parameter adjustment through a WeChat mini program. Customers can adjust core parameters such as detection distance, sensing sensitivity, delay time, and daylight threshold, while checking lighting status in real time.
This flexible integration capability helps customers reduce development workload, shorten testing cycles, and adapt radar sensing to a wider range of residential, commercial, and smart building systems.
EasyDetek's presentation at GILE 2026 showed a clear direction: radar sensing is moving from single-function detection toward full-scenario smart space control. With 5.8GHz, 24GHz, and 60GHz product lines, EasyDetek continues to support customers across lighting control, hotel room automation, smart home, office energy saving, elderly care, and advanced indoor sensing applications.
